Cheers! OPEN CINEMA Festival is calling for entries again! We accept applications from film directors of fiction, non-fiction, documentary and animated movies created in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

August, 24 - the program of the day will begin with fiction films that were selected for Main Competition. The program will be screened in AVRORA cinema centre. It includes films created by Russian directors Ksenia Okhapkina and Yevgeniya Montanya Ibanes, Sarah Horst from Switzerland, famous Italian Diego D’Innocenzo and legendary Jean Gabriel P?riot from France.
The aim of River to River is to promote only films from and about India, and it is the first Festival of this kind in the world. The first night of the festival's screenings will be held at Mirage-Cinema centre, 19.45

Tomorrow, August, 20, the “AEROKRAFT” futuristic project will give a start to the Festival on the beach of Peter-and-Paul Fortress. Specially made for the opening of the festival OPEN CINEMA-2011 this unique project will become a hymn to praise a man who is looking into the future.
Monday, August, 15 – today we proceed accrediting OPEN CINEMA-2011 competition and non-competition participants.
August, 17 - The Press conference of OPEN CINEMA 2011 will take place in Mikhail Shemyakin Foundation (11, Sadovaya st.). The organizers of the Festival and members of the jury board will meet journalists and answer their questions.
The members of the Jury Board of VII International festival OPEN CINEMA are announced. It merged cinematographers and festival organizers from Russia, Norway, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
